Artwork. Past and Present.

Mosaic of Mind.

The mind is a wonderful thing...

What a shame we waste it.

A lot of people say 'I can't draw!' or
'I wish I could draw like that!'
I used to be one of those people.
There was always a time in someones
life when they couldn't do something
and then learned how.

I won't lie to you, it's not always easy.
If you sit and tell yourself you can't draw
then you may as well give up now, but if
you have something driving you to learn,
it can be amazingly simple.

Where it all began.

What drove me to pick up a pencil?
My son being born.
I didn't have enough money to
buy a Disney wall border, so I
decided to draw loads of cartoon
characters from childrens mags
and put them on his wall.

24 cartoons later I decided to
move on to more challenging
things.
The elephant on this website, is
my first attempt at something
that was real and not imaginary.
The dimensions are all wrong but
I'll show my mistakes alongside
the rest of my artwork.

We learn from our mistakes
and when we look back we can
see how far we have come.
